I sometimes cant help but wonder if being in university makes people self serving and narcissistic. Perhaps it is one of the unintentional, unwanted side effects of the bell curve. But if not for your own OG and hall ppl, its really hard to get to know people outside of class. And most people who get to know you through faculty are wary and distant, as if if you get too close you can magically steal away their marks and push them to the other end of the bell curve. It can be quite desolate. I miss JC where everyone is super nice n friendly and they make friends with you based on character, not whether your friendship will be beneficial in some way or another to help boost one's grades. I really dislike politics. I know that my friend says tt SMU is worse, but i wonder if NTU has a simpler more pure form of life..

anyway im back in hall! dear is finally back from brunei! n im soooo happy that he's back! i was a silly sobby sop sop thing for a while but kind of straightened out my thoughts! must be a better gf! dear i miss you!!

Of fridge events and juggernautted karoke machines

We went to JingYuan's house for mooncake festival! quite pek chek coz we never go walk walk xing shang yue liang! T_T we stayed in his house to watch vcd n play mahjong instead n eat moon cakes! the only happy thing was that i got to eat lotsa mooncakes this year! ^^ But it was fun overall! ^^ His fridge was HUGE! super lots of things to eat! then we were happily raiding his fridge! Got chocs n food from worldwide! even got Ginseng white chocolate??? hmmm... I was joking tt every day after school go his house n raid his fridge bring back to hall! haha! he was happily offering us things to eat claiming that they have been there for along time! suddenly had this nostalgic feeling of last time when cheryl used to come to my house to raid my fridge n have fun... haiz.. sec school days...

Duno why this song "why did you have to go put stars in their eyes. Its the same old story, just that you didnt realise. and its a long way to go from their juggernautted karoke machines, n saturday night's broken dreams" keeps playing in my head.. cant seem to get it out of my head! grragh!
